about

EN.
Conceived between Italy and England, the homemade ep "Bees Make Love To Flowers" gathers six acoustical sketches moving between feelings of disappointment and consolation, loving without being fully loved back, thinking aloud and platonic emotions.

The use of English language as the first means of musical communication besides the singer’s everyday native Italian one, is the direct consequence of a constant search of duality, which is also represented by the sole acoustic guitar accompanying the vocal part.
The average briefness of forms and durations - a short handwritten message metaphor - is a sort of counterpoint to the choice of making a symbol of brave, unflagging love and care out of bees, being “frightened by lawn mowers, but still in love with flowers” as they are depicted in the title track.

Eventually, the main concern of the lyrics is the blind belief that only ‘great feelings’ are worth our efforts, but that may cloud equally important details, smaller in their appearance but not in meaning: hence the image of lovers using “no mowers, ‘cause bees make love to flowers”.

IT.
